Zoraida Reyes DeJesus

Zoraida Reyes DeJesus, 74, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Lebanon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born on December 13, 1949, in Coamo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Santos Bermudez and Gloria Maria Reyes. 

She was predeceased by her son Edgardo DeJesus. 

Zoraida is survived by her daughter, Carmen Rosario of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Edna DeJesus of Florida; son, Hector DeJesus of Reading; daughter, Daisy DeJesus of Lebanon; son, Delvin DeJesus of Ohio; son, Julio DeJesus of Reading; daughter, Sandra DeJesus of Lebanon; 20 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading, PA 19601 on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:00am-1:30pm. Burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.whelanschwartz.com.
