William Orrs

William L. Orrs, 91, formerly of the Woodland Plaza Apartments, Wyomissing, died July 20 at 1:10 p.m. in the Villa St. Elizabeth, Reading.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John W. and Laura A. (Wadsworth) Orrs.
Orrs was employed for 21 years as a truck driver by Branch Motor Express, Reading, retiring in 1960.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Orrs was a member of the Barbershop Quartet of Reading.
Orrs, who resided with Hilda (Campbell) Ritter Salwach, is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery, Lower Heidelberg Township.
