William E. Hetrich, 77, Montrose Manor, died Nov. 2, 2007, at 4:20 a.m. at home. He was the husband of Doris M. (Guinther) Hetrich.
Born April 17, 1930, in Reading, he was a son of the late Elmer and Leona H. (Brunner) Hetrich.
He worked as a supervisor and car inspector of the mechanical department for Conrail Railroad, Philadelphia and Reading, for 43 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of St. JohnA�a�a��s Masonic Lodge, West Reading; a former member of Kissinger Grange, West Reading LionA�a�a��s Club and Council, as well as the planning commission of West Reading; a former vice president of the Social Club of West Reading; and a former trustee of the American Club of Reading.
Also surviving are three sons: William B., husband of Jane Hetrich, and Randy S. Hetrich, both of Montrose Manor; and Ricky S., husband of Tammy Hetrich, West Wyomissing.
Other survivors include four grandchildren: Benjamin, Shane, Eric and Cody; and a stepgranddaughter, Anika Morgen.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Galley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
