William R. Emes

 William R. Emes, 95, of Douglassville, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in his home. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late DeEsta F. (Beshore) and Russell Emes. He was the husband of the late Nedra (Whitesides) Emes. He worked as a Physician at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center before his retirement in 1999. When he was younger, he enjoyed going to the beach and sailing. William was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and an avid reader. He loved traveling the world and going to casinos with his wife, Nedra.

 William is survived by his children, Alison Emes, Jennifer Stoffa, Lauren Emes, Morgan Emes, and Tracey Imbusch. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Nicholas Stoffa, Christopher Stoffa, Andre Emes, Kieran Emes-Groff, and Gabrielle Schneider, and his great grandchildren, Sarina and August. William is predeceased by his grandson, John Stoffa.
