William Beam

William D. Beam, 86, of Robeson Township, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:50 am in his home. He was the husband of Charlotte L. (Webb) Beam. Born in Parkesburg, Mr. Beam was the son of the late Frank and Loretta (Snoke) Beam. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a District Manager of Corporate Security for Bell Atlantic Corporation for 35 years retiring in April of 1985. Mr. Beam was a life member of Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association; South Eastern Police Chiefs Association and Chester County Police Chiefs Association. In addition to his wife Charlotte, Mr. Beam is survived by his sons Robert D. Beam, husband of Jeanette Beam of Coatesville; Kenneth W. Beam, husband of JoAnn Beam of East Fallowfield, Chester County and William C. Beam, husband of Genie Kathleen Beam of Robeson Township along with his 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Kathy Ash, wife of the late Harold Ash of Texas.
