Wilbur Hoehl

Wilbur J. Hoehl, 88, formerly of Reading, passed away June 17, 2009 in Laurel Center, Tilden Township, where he was a resident since April 2008. He was the husband of the late Anna J. (Walters) Hoehl, who passed away in April of 2008. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late William J. and Helen M. (Potter) Hoehl. Mr. Hoehl was a former Supervisor at the Titus Station for Met Ed for 30 years, retiring in 1978. He is survived by a niece, Vivian E. wife of Thomas W. Vollmer of Hamburg and a nephew Lynn J. husband of Gloria J. Stitzel of Hamburg. In addition, Mr. Hoehl is survived by 1 grand nephew; 3 grand nieces; 1 great grand nephew; 6 great grand nieces and 1 great great grand nephew. Graveside services will be held in Laureldale Cemetery Saturday at 10:00 am Rev. Paul E. Buzzard officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526 in memory of Mr. Wilbur J. Hoehl.
