Vernon R. Ebling, 76, of Reading, died June 9 at 8:46 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Blainsport, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy (Block) Ebling.
Ebling was employed in maintenance by the Reading Public Works Department, until his retirement.
He was an Army veteran.
Surviving is a sister, Helen E. (Ebling) Klopp, Laureldale.
Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Lebanon County.
