Theresa M. (Esposito) Unger, 73, Sinking Spring, formerly of Reading, died July 17, 2007, at 2:40 p.m. on Route 22 in Lehigh County. She was the wife of George F. Unger, at home.
Born May 18, 1934, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Carmine Esposito and Frances (Cirulli) Esposito.
She was employed for 20 years as a clerk in the CT Scan/Ultrasound department of Reading Hospital, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington
Surviving are two daughters, Jean A. (Carabello), wife of Leon Domsic, Sinking Spring, and Mary (Unger), wife of Curt Arbogast, Leesport; and a son, Anthony, husband of Dawn Carabello, Sinking Spring.
Other survivors include two sisters, Jean (Esposito) Menditto, Springfield, and Ruth (Esposito) Gehris, Temple; and three brothers: Elias Esposito, Whitfield; David Esposito, Wernersville; and Richard Esposito, Reading.
There also are five grandchildren: Brian, Nicole, William, Olivia and Wesley.
She was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Esposito, and a sister, Stella Gill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 12:30 p.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 420 Holland St., Shillington, with the Rev. Richard H. Clement, celebrant. At the request of the family, everyone is asked to meet at church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc., Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
