Ruth Unger

On June 20, 2016 Ruth (Oatman) Unger, residing over the years in Sinking Springs, Fritztown, and Grill, Pa, went to be with our Lord. Greeting her in Heaven were her husband of 58 years, Jack F. Unger, her sons Scott and Terry, her daughter Patricia Unger, and grandson Kirk Unger. She left behind on this earth her sons Barry and wife Paula Unger, Glenn and Brenda Unger, and daughter in-law Debbie Unger. She was the loving grandmother and blessed with 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was a homemaker for 15 years raising her children as her number one priority until she went into the work force as a programmer for 12 years at Albright College. A 1951 graduate of
Governor Mifflin High, she was an active Sunday school teacher and Den Mother. She was a kind person who will be missed by all with whom she came in contact. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences can be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
