Ruth E. (Swoyer) Shober, 87, of Reading, passed away on Tuesday, May 27th at Berkshire Center, where she had been a patient for six years.
Born October 2, 1920 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Catherine V. (Smith) Swoyer.
She was a volunteer at Ephrata Hospital for many years, and was a member of the Gold Star Mother's Club.
She is survived by her son: Terry L. Shober of Columbia, PA; grandchildren: Jesse Allen, Davina Renee, Jonathan Terry, and Helesha Ruth; brother: George J. Swoyer of Mt. Penn, and sister: Mary K. (Swoyer) Endy of Oakland, NJ.
Services and interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park will be private at the convenience of the family.
