Russell Schaeffer

Russell L. Schaeffer, 76, formerly of Wernersville, passed away December 10, 2008 at 7:25 am in Berks County Home-Berks Heim. He was the husband of Verlie U. (Reifsnyder) Schaeffer to whom he was married for 53 years. Born in Auburn, PA he was the son of the late Mildred Borkert. Mr. Schaeffer was employed by Dana Corp. as a clerk for 34 years retiring in 1989. He was a Navy veteran serving in Korea. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Michael A. husband of Tami Jo (Larrabee) Schaeffer of Robesonia a granddaughter Bobbi Jo wife of Brian Lentz and a great grandson Logan M.
