Ruby Kissinger

Ruby I. (Wagner) Kissinger, 80, of Wernersville, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 4, 2020.  Born in Hegins, she was the daughter of the late Guy J. and Verna (Kahler) Wagner.  Ruby was the wife of the late James W. Kissinger who passed away March 23, 2007, together they shared 49 years of marriage.  She was the past Department President and Secretary for the New Jersey Auxiliary to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.  Ruby enjoyed bowling, going to camp to sit and watch deer, elk, and other wildlife.  She loved spending time with her family, making crafts for everyone, and bringing smiles to people’s faces.

Ruby is survived by her children; Ann Stone, widow of Theodore of Douglassville, Gloria Fioravanti, wife of Jeffrey of Wyomissing, and Connie Rothermel, wife of Richard of Wernersville, her 6 grandchildren, and her 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be celebrated in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 10:00 am.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.  Interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
