Rosa Morales

Rosa Mercedes Feliciano Morales (Rosita Feliciano), 84, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Reading Hospital. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ramon Feliciano and Rosa Morales. Rosita was an avid Yankees fan, following the ups and downs of the Bronx Bombers her entire life, keeping copious statistics of every game. She was extremely talented at crocheting and cross-stitch, gifting family members with her creations. She also loved going to weekly BINGO games, watching game shows and classic movies on television and singing. She is survived by her children Veronica Colon, wife of Julio C. Flores of Shillington; Leticia Minei, wife of Dr. Lawrence Minei of Manorville, NY; Virginia Vicente, wife of Israel Vicente, Jr. of Merrick, NY; Elizabeth Vicente, wife of Jose A. Vicente of Womelsdorf; Nereida Kopf, wife of Joel Kopf of Naples, FL; Alma McDermott, wife of John McDermott of Naples, FL and Pablo Nieves, husband of Francisca Nieves of Austin, TX and 19 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Rafael Ramos, Jr. in 2016.
A private memorial service is being planned by the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Ms. Rosita Feliciano .
