Robert Fitz

Robert (Bob) Fitz, 72 passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center with his son by his side. He was proceeded in death by his long time love, Sandra (Cassale) Fitz and his step son Kevin Trabbold. Bob was born in Prospect Park, Pa. He was the son of the late Peter Fitz and Sarah (Paper) Fitz. Bob served in the Army as a special carrier. He worked as a welder for 15 years before retiring from Lansdale Steel. Bob was also a volunteer fire fighter for 15 years and served as chief engineer with the Feltonville Fire Company.

Bob is survived by his son Robert D. Fitz Jr. husband of Rebecca (Dykie) Fitz of Spring Township, as well as three stepchildren: Denise Kester(Delaware), James Ruppert (Virginia), and Lisa Linschoten (Florida). Bob is also survived by his 4 beloved granddaughters: Erikah (Delaware), Georgie, Lillianna and Helen Fitz.
