Robert Armstrong, 66, Hamburg, died Aug. 16 at 12:50 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.
He was the husband of Shirley A. (Long) Armstrong.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul and Anna (Nagle) Armstrong.
Armstrong had been employed for 21 years as chief chemical operator by American Color Co., Reading, retiring in 1985.
He was an Army veteran.
Armstrong is also survived by two sons, Kevin S., Reading, and Robert P., Hamburg; and three daughters: Wendy D. (Armstrong) Lorah and Tammy L. (Armstrong) Huff, both of Hamburg; and Linda K. Armstrong, Sinking Spring.
Other survivors include a stepbrother, Charles Willig, Fort Collins, Colo.
There are also 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Marie Armstrong, in 1960.
Services will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
