Rita M. Brown, 87, formerly of Mount Penn, died Oct. 10, 2007, at 5:25 a.m. in Berkshire Center, Exeter Township, where she had resided for three years. She was the widow of Curtis R. Brown, who passed away in February 1996.
Born May 22, 1920, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leo J. and Catharine J. (Sullivan) Frank.
She worked in the payroll department of Gilbert Associates, Green Hills office, for 25 years, retiring in May 1980.
She was a member of St. PaulA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Rozanne (Brown) Grecco, Willingboro, N.J.
Other survivors include three grandchildren: Christopher C. Grecco, Andrea M. Grecco and Matthew C. Grecco; and three great-grandchildren: Cole, Carson and Claire.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. PaulA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Andrew A. Ulincy as celebrant. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. BrownA�a�a��s name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 906 Penn Ave., Suite 2, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
