Rick J. Kissinger Sr., 43, of Locust Street, died of natural causes April 29 at 5:10 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center.
He was the husband of Maribeth (Wojcik) Kissinger.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter J. and Edith (Fiovanti) Kissinger.
Kissinger was a self-employed mechanic for 20 years.
He was an Army and Navy veteran.
Kissinger is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie M. Kissinger, Reading; and four sons: Dean M., Mount Penn; and Rick J. Jr., Joseph L. and Jason A., all of Reading.
Other survivors include two half brothers, Carl J. and Raymond A. Noble, both of St. Cloud, Fla.; and five half sisters: Mae (Noble) Kleffel, Hye Park; Anna Marie (Noble) Seyler, West Lawn; Sue (Noble) LePore, Reading; Mildred O. (Noble) Bortz, Temple; and Elizabeth A. (Noble) Noll, Wyomissing Hills.
There are also two grandsons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
