Richard Weand

Richard L. Weand, 76, died of natural causes Feb. 9 in his residence in Muhlenberg Township.
He was the husband of Bernice L. (Rutter) Weand.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harold and Charlotte (Swoyer) Weand.
Weand was employed for more than 40 years as an electrician by Nawa Electric, Reading, retiring in 1980.
He was a graduate of Reading High School.
His wife is his only survivor.
He was predeceased by a stepson, Michael L. Daniszewski, in 2003.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Entombment will be in the Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale.
