Pearl F. Schaffer, 85, of Muhlenberg Twp., went to her heavenly home on September 13, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of Stanley G. Schaffer, Sr., celebrating 66 years of marriage on June 30th.
Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Cecelia (Groller) Kulp.
She was employed by the County of Berks, working as a Tipstaff to the elected judicial officials along with her husband Stanley until her retirement in 2001.
She was an active member of the Blandon Senior Citizens and a member of Alsace Lutheran Church. Pearl was an avid reader, and enjoyed painting, stitching and crafts. She displayed her works of art throughout her home for everyone to enjoy. Her greatest love was her family.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her children: Stanley G. Schaffer, Jr., husband of Sheryl of Walnutport, Debra L. Hall, wife of Glenn of Allentown, and Cathy L. Mitchell wife of Steven of Reading. Also surviving are her six grandchildren: Heather Olsen, Holly Hunter, Krissi Connell, Jaime Goulet, Chad Schaffer, and Michael Mitchell; her twelve great grandchildren; her sisters: Mildred Genevese and Marie Lower; and her brother: Robert J. Kulp, Jr.
She was predeceased by her sisters: Marion Meckes and Elsie Clark and brother: Richard Kulp, Sr.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
