Paul D. Martz, 89, Cumru Township, died March 30 at 2:50 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient for one day.
He had been predeceased by his wife, Mable Martz.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John F. and Mable U. (Snyder) Martz.
Martz was founder and owner-operator of Aluminum Alloys Inc., Sinking Spring, for 43 years, retiring in 1996.
He is survived by a son, Terry P., Cumru Township.
Other survivors include a brother, Jimmy, Allentown; and two sisters, Dolly Martz, Seattle, and Unis Martz, in Florida.
There are also three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
