Nancy A. Hernandez

Nancy A. Hernandez, 83, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose G. Hernandez, who passed away on August 9, 2009. Born on March 21, 1939, in San Pedro Sula Honduras, she was the daughter of the late Francisco Rodriguez and Edelmira Paz. Nancy was a member of St. Catharine Alexandria in Brooklyn, New York. She loved going to church and traveling, but her biggest love was her family.

Nancy is survived by her children, Dilcia Hernandez, Lilian Zabala, Sandra Hernandez, Waldy Hernandez, Vilma Hernandez, Nancy Reyes, Lenin Hernandez, Alan Hernandez, Lilian Hernandez; 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church 925 Centre Ave, Reading, PA 19601 on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday March 23, 2023 at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9^th Street Reading, PA 19601 from 8:00am-10:00am.
