Miriam Mae Heckman, 99, a resident of Manor Care, Sinking Spring, passed away November 27, 2011 at 2:54 AM. Her husband, Edward T. Heckman passed away September 27, 1955.
A life long resident of Reading, Miriam was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice Kase. She graduated from St. Pauls Commercial High School.
Miriam was employed by the Narrow Fabric Corp. for 25 years retiring in 1982.
She is survived by her Guardian William Vath and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family expresses a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Manor Care Sinking Spring and Hospice.
Memorials:
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Pauls RCC, 151 N. 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601.
Cemetery:
Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Visitation:
There will be no viewing.
Service:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Resurrection of Gethsemane Cemetery by Rev. Quyet Pham.
