Mildred Becker

Mildred K. Becker, 99, formerly of Reading, passed away December 27, 2011 at 1:28 am in ManorCare Health Services, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond S. Becker, Sr. who passed away in 1972. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Charles G. Witman and Elsie M. (Greiss) Petree. Mrs. Becker was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading and was a volunteer for the Berks County Senior Citizen Center Meals On Wheels. She is survived by her son Raymond S. Jr. husband of Myrtle G. Becker of Breinigsville and her daughter Barbara A. Stone of Okeechobee, Florida and was preceded in death by her son Barry G. Becker, Sr. who passed away in March of 2002. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons along with her brother John J. Witman of Wyomissing. She was preceded in death by her sister Helen M. Wentzel.
