Michael Gonzalez

Services for Michael L. Gonzalez, 24, of Reading will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc.
Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
Gonzalez died as a result of head injuries suffered in a one-car accident along Skyline Drive in Alsace Township on May 22.
A passenger in the vehicle, Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at about 2:30 a.m. by Berks County coroner Dr. Nicholas Bybel.
The cause of death has been ruled accidental.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Luis Gonzalez and Margaret L. Hillegas, both of Reading.
Gonzalez had been employed as a landscaper by Valley Crest Landscaping, Norristown, Montgomery County.
He was a 1999 graduate of Reading High School.
Gonzalez is also survived by two daughters, Jazmine M. and Alexandria Gonzalez, both of Womelsdorf.
Other survivors include three sisters: Barbara Rodriguez, Elizabeth Gonzalez and Anna Gonzalez; and four brothers: Angel, Adrian, Carlos and Jonathan, all of Reading.
Additional survivors include his maternal grandmother, Shirley A. (Hassler) Hillegas, Reading, and his paternal grandfather, Apolinal Gonzalez, Villiabla, Puerto Rico.
