Maximino Cruz

Maximino Cruz, 58, of Reading, passed away march 7, 2011 at 5:25 am in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the companion of Miriam Sanchez. Born in Humacas Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jasinto Cruz and Catalina Cruz De Mora. He was a welder for Kutztown Foundry and a member of St. Peters RCC. He is survived by his son Maximino Cruz, Jr. at home, daughters Maria and Evelyn Lopez, Step sons Juan Hernandez of Myrtle Beach, SC, Agustin Pacheco of Reading, Step Daughter Beatrice Rojas of Reading brothers Confesor, Miguel, George and Jose Cruz all of Reading and Carmelo Cruz of South Carolina. Services from Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading Monday at 9:30 am. Monsignor Thomas J. Orsulak officiating. Interment Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 pm.
