Mary Gehris

Mary L. Gehris, 93, passed away May 17, 2015 in Berks Heim. She was the widow of Daniel M. "Butch" Gehris, Sr., who passed away February 10, 2015. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna Reinert. Mary along with her husband Butch were the owners of Gehris Quality Meats in Topton from 1958-1985. One of the many things Mary enjoyed doing was working on ceramics. Survivors include children Daniel M. Gehris, Jr., Temple; Sharon L. (Gehris) Gaenzle, Reading; 5 grandchildren Michael Gaenzle, Michelle Ferguson, Ryan Gehris, Stephen Gehris, Katie Gehris; 4 great-grandchildren Olivia Gehris, Cavin Gehris, Daegn Gehris , Kiersten Herr. Other survivors include sister Barbara Shade; brothers Rodney Reinert and Donald Reinert. She was predeceased by siblings Elizabeth Moyer, Georgine Gambler, Phyllis Regal and Kenneth Reinert.
