Martin Laboy, 77, Reading, died Jan. 1 at 12:16 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been a patient for one day.
Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Jose and Juana (Santiago) Laboy.
Laboy had been employed for 20 years as a dough cutter by Mrs. Smith Pie Co., Morgantown.
He is survived by a daughter, Mildred (Laboy) Hamaker; and two sons, Wilson and William, all of Reading.
Other survivors include a sister, Rosa Laboy, in Puerto Rico.
There are also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Wilfredo, and a daughter, Ana Marie Laboy.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
