Marlin W. Lesher, 77, of Sonday Drive, Upper Bern Township, died Dec. 28 at 1:37 a.m. in the Laurel Center Genesis Elder Care, Tilden Township, where he had been a patient since Dec. 23.
He was the husband of Doris M. (Smith) Lesher.
Born in Shoemakersville, he was a son of the late William and Mollie R. (Berger) Lesher.
Lesher had been employed for 17 years as a truck driver by Simon Recycling Industry, Temple, retiring in 1994. He had previously worked 25 years as a bus driver for Reading Bus Co.
He worked five years at Keystone Blood Bank, Reading, following his retirement.
Lesher was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is also survived by a daughter, Robin Lee Lesher, Temple, and a son, Marlin L., Strausstown.
There is also one grandson and one great-grandson.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
