Marion Kern

October 29, 1923 — February 4, 2003

Marion P. Adcock Kern, 79, of Perkiomen Avenue, Exeter Township, died Feb. 4 at 6:10 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient two weeks.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Frederick E. Adcock, and by her second husband, Sherman Kern.

Born in Lansdale, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Myron and Pearl (Hearn) Wheeler.

Surviving are a son, James Adcock, Bechtelsville; and three daughters: Jenney (Adcock) Boukitab, Reading; Dawn Adcock, Lansdowne, Delaware County; and Frances (Adcock) LaHaise, Bechtelsville.

Other survivors include a brother, Harrison Wheeler, and two sisters, Carol (Wheeler) Foraker and Loretta (Wheeler) Heil, all in Pennsylvania.

There are also 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
