Marie Rentschler

Marie (Kramer) Rentschler, 84, of Reading, passed away January 11, 2021 in St. Joseph’s Medical Center.  Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Kramer.  Marie was the wife of the late Charles Rentschler together they shared 61 years of marriage.  Marie really enjoyed crocheting and making gifts to give to her grandchildren.  She loved to travel with her late husband and spent a lot of time in the Poconos.  They both loved to socialize and go out to eat a lot.

Marie is survived by her children, Fabian Rentschler, life companion of Ann Erb, Charles Rentschler, Lewis Rentschler, Tiayease Zook, and Justin Rentschler.  She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and her brother, Robert Kramer.  Marie is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Kramer, George Kramer, and Mariam Woerner.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Bean Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, North 16th Street and Rockland Street, Hampden Heights at 10:00 am.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, January 19th from 9:00 am – 10:00 am in Bean Funeral Homes, Hampden Heights.  Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Hamburg.  Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
