Marie Pierre-Louis

Marie T. (Lucienne) Pierre-Louis, 89, of Sinking Spring, passed away on August 3, 2020 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph’s Medical Center.  Born in Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Demetrius Apollon and Christiane Hall.  Marie was the wife of the late Antoine Pierre-Louis who passed away in 2000.  She graduated from high school afterwards she became a secretary at a warehouse.  Marie loved to pray, go to church, and was very talkative which led to many friendships.  She was very optimistic and giving, enjoyed cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Marie is survived by her children; Myrtho Cadet, wife of Guerdy of Sinking Spring, Dorine Desgravis, wife of Harold of New York, her grandchildren; Jerry, Nadege, Christopher, Ciana, Hdonel, Sarah, and Imanie, and her great grandchildren; Khamari, Khari, Destiny, and Elijah.  She is preceded in death by her siblings; Christine, Anthony, and Albert.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in Bean Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, North 16th Street and Rockland Street, Hampden Heights.  Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.  Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th St., Reading is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
