Maria Turrell

Maria M. Turrell, 76, of Laureldale, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1:44 pm in her residence. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Lopez and Rosa Vega. Ms. Turrell was a CNA at Genesis Home Health for 20 years. She is survived by her daughters Wanda Pagan of Laureldale, Zabrina Marquez of Reading and her son Daniel Pagan of Staten Island, New York. Her life revolved around her grandchildren Genevieve Gonzalez; Desiree Pagan; Francesca Rivera; Daniel W.Pagan ; Justin Pagan; Adriana Cruz; Abdiel Rivera and Christopher Diaz and her 9 great grandchildren. She lived her life through her grandchildren and gave all she had to them. They were her life and she was theirs. Ms. Turrell was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home , 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 12 Noon. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Thursday 10:00 am to 12 Noon.
