Margaret Mcquaite

Margaret C. McQuaite, 94, of Franklin Street died Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Oct. 24.
She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin J. McQuaite, in 1974.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Edward J. and Anna M. (Dunn) Dufner.
McQuaite was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Dolores M. (McQuaite) Nowotarski, Pennside, and a son, Dr. Joseph R. McQuaite, Holland, Bucks County.
Other survivors include a sister, Kathryn (Dufner) Macnamee, Chattanooga, Tenn.
There are also 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
McQuaite was predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn (McQuaite) Fenney, and a son, Melvin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
