Luis A. Rivera, 62, Reading, died Aug. 25 in his residence. He was the husband of Noelia (Morales) Rivera, Reading.
Born in Puerto Rico on March 3, 1944, he was a son of Inez Ballester, Connecticut.
He worked for the former Ames Distribution Center, Ontelaunee Township, for 16 years, retiring in 2003.
Rivera was a member of Movement of Faith Church, Reading.
He is also survived by a daughter, Maria I. (Rivera) Vaializ, Reading; and two sons, Angel Luis and Braulio Luis, both of Reading.
Other survivors include a brother, Ramon Rivera, and a sister, Luz (Rivera) Diaz, both of Connecticut.
There are also 11 grandchildren.
Services will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North Ninth St., Reading. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
