Lueanice Weeks

Lueanice Weeks, 54, passed away July 29, 2008 in York Hospital at 6:00 am. She was the widow of Harold Harris who passed away in 1982 and George Weeks. Born in Reading she was the daughter of Joe Harvey of Glenside and the late Elizabeth(Eaddy) Harvey. Mrs. Weeks was employed as a social worker for the City of Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School, attended Alvernia College and received an associate degree in Sociology for Reading Area Community College. She attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in York and St. John Baptist in Reading. Mrs. Weeks is survived by daughters Heather wife of Daniel Johnson of York and Miriah Weeks of York, 6 grandchildren, brother Frank Eaddy, Sr. husband of Jacqueline Eaddy of Reading, sisters, Rochelle wife of George Harris of Reading and marsha Eaddy of Reading. Mrs. Weeks is also survived by her companion with whom she last resided, Charles Logan and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Eady.

Services from Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading Saturday at 11:00 am Pastor Thaddius Godwin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday 10-11 am.
