Luciano Rivera

Luciano Rivera, 72, of Reading died peacefully in the presence of his loving family and went to be with his Lord on July 20, 2008 at 3:26 am. He was the Loving husband of Georgina(Rodriguez) Rivera. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Feliciano and Juana(colon) Rivera. In addition to his wife Mr. Rivera is survived by sons, Juan D. husband of Helen Rivera of Reading; Eduardo Rivera of Reading; Efrain husband of Vanessa Rivera of Reading, daughters, Noemi wife of Christopher Caral of Sinking Spring; Migdalia wife of Daniel Millan of Shillington; Lucia Rivera of Las Vegas, NV, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Ventura and Eduardo Rivera of Puerto Rico; Ignacio and Jorge Rivera of Reading; sisters, Julia Ortiz and Olga Rivera of Reading; Santa Rivera of Bethlehem; Luz Maria Rivera of Puerto Rico; Catalina Rivera-Colon of Reading and may nieces and nephews. Services from Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading, Thursday at 11 am. Rev. Victor Marinez officiating. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 10-11 am.
