Lottie Shanaman, 94, of Cumru Township, passed away July 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center where she was a patient since Sunday. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Shanaman who passed away December 23, 1992. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Roch and Alexandria(Pych)Zajac. She was a member of St. Mark's UCC in Reading and a member of Ingie Pingie for over 50 years. Mrs. Shanaman is survived by her son, Robert Jr. husband of Polly J. Shanaman with whom she last resided. She is also suvived by her grandson, Rev. Stephen Scott Shanaman of Ohio along with 5 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Mary Liss of Sun City Center, Florida, Jane Lubas of Exeter Township and her brother, Frank Zajac of Sinking Spring. She was preceded in death by her brother John Zajac. Services from St. Mark's UCC, 211 West Greenwich Street, Reading, PA 19601 Saturday at 11:30 am. Rev. Walton R. Horn officiating. Entombment Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:30-11:30 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mark's UCC Memorial Fund at the above address in memory of Mrs. Lottie Shanaman.
