Lorraine J. Klein, 76, of Penn Street, died Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient four days.
She was the wife of William J. Klein Jr.
Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lydia Yeagel.
Klein was employed for several years as a seamstress by the Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing, and was last employed for 25 years as a production worker by the Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown, retiring in 1980.
She was a volunteer for more than 20 years at the Olivet Boys & Girls Club, Reading.
Klein is also survived by two sons, William J. III, Shillington, and Patrick J., Mohnton; and three daughters: Betty L. (Klein) Cope, Shillington; Alice A. (Klein) Schoellkopf, Blandon; and April A. (Klein) Koch, Blandon.
Other survivors include 18 grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
