Laura M. Berger, 93, of Wernersville, passed away Saturday, September 5th at 5:30 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Albany Twp., she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Bailey, and Cora M. (Rubrecht) Bailey, and widow of the late Stanley A. Berger, who passed away November 29, 1999.
She worked in the sales department at Snellenberg Dept. Store, last working in 1961, and former member of First United Church of Christ in Reading.
She is survived by her nephew: Lamar Bailey, husband of Brenda of Kutztown, and niece: Marilyn, widow of Robert R. Seaman of Shoemakersville.
Services from the Chapel of Phoebe Berks Village, 1 Heidelberg Dr., Wernesrville, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Barry R. Galley officiating. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Auburn. Friends received Thursday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 25 Stevens Dr., Building A, Suite 10, West Lawn, PA 19609 or Phoebe Berks Village, 1 Reading Dr., Wernersville, PA 19565.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, Reading, are in charge of arrangements.
