Juana Vargas

Juana D. Vargas, 72, of Maidencreek Township, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 4:50 pm in her residence. She was the wife of the late Victor M. Vargas who passed away November 28, 2003. Born in Dominican Republic, Mrs. Vargas was the daughter of the late Pablo Frias and Rosa Hernandez. She was a production worker in the manufacturing industry. Mrs. Vargas is survived by her daughter Elvira Vargas with whom she last resided; step son Victor Vargas, Jr. and 3 grandchildren Lisbelle Jaquez; Elvis M. Jaquez and Kelvin Jaquez and 6 great grandchildren and 9 brother and sisters.
Funeral Service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Deacon Leo Alvarado will officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Friday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
