Jose Martinez

Jose Colon Martinez, 62, of Reading, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 3:41 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of the late Helen DeJesus who passed away September 5, 2011. Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Mr. Colon Martinez was the son of the late Victor Colon and Francesa Martinez. He worked in housekeeping at Berkshire Sheraton in Wyomissing and was of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his siblings Israel Colon Martinez, husband of Mary E. Boyer of Reading; Amondor Colon Martinez of Reading; Mildred Colon Martinez of Brooklyn, New York; Irma Colon Martinez of Brooklyn, New York; Anna Colon Martinez of Brooklyn, New York; Zulma Colon Martinez of Puerto Rico; Victor Colon Martinez, Jr. of Puerto Rico and Julio Colon Martinez of Puerto Rico.
