John Bresler

John A. Bresler, 76, of Cumru Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 7th, at 9:00 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient since December 3rd.
Born in Kutztown, he was the son of the late Frederick Bresler, and Edna (Stump) Bresler, and husband of Catherine E. (Gardner) Bresler.
He was a U.S. Marine during the Korean War, and worked as a welder for Dana Corporation for 30 yrs, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of Spring Valley Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by brothers: Fred Bresler of Florida, and Mark Bresler of Bern Twp., and sister: Beverly (Bresler) Beidler of Alexandria, VA.
Services from Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd., Reading, PA 19560, Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Robert E. Hinson officiating. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received Thursday from 9 to 10:00 a.m. at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above listed address.
