Joanne D. Gieringer, 73, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 3:36 p.m. at The Reading Hospital & Medical Center.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles Gieringer and Dorothy (Frederick) Gieringer.
Joanne enjoyed playing bingo and companionship with her close friends, Harold Oudinot and Dorothy Guzowski.
Mass of Christian Burial takes place Monday at 12:00 noon at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 151 N. 9th St. Reading. Rev. Quyet Pham Celebrant. Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends received Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Church.
