Joann Frey

Joann Lois Frey, 71, of Wyomissing, passed away October 12, 2013 at the Highlands at Wyomissing. Born in Allentown, Mrs. Frey was the daughter of the late Joseph C. Osman and Madeline (Sensinger) Kestel. Survivors include: her 2 sons, Scott A. Frey, husband of Amy M. (Wickline) Frey of Lancaster and Cameron T. Frey, husband of Christin P. (Martin) Frey of Ashburn, VA; as well as 5 loving grandchildren, Lucas E. Frey, Sarah E. Frey, Elliott M. Frey, Aidan T. Frey, and Harper A. Frey. Mrs. Frey devoted 37 years to caring for patients in the operating room at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, retiring in 2007. She was also an active member of the Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ in Wyomissing where she led the Altar Guild, participated in the Hand Bell Choir and lovingly knitted for the Prayer Shawl group.
