Joan Perez

Joan Perez, 76, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at 5:30 pm in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Adrian Perez who passed away October 15, 2013. Born in Reading, Mrs. Perez was the daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Bowman) Arndt. She was employed by Burlington Coat Factory in retail department. Mrs. Perez is survived by her daughter Adriane Castillo, wife of Luis Castillo, Sr. of Reading and her son Charles Auton, husband of Valerie Auton of Lancaster and was preceded in death by her son Albert Auton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Morgan, Tim, Cassondra, Ruth, Elizabeth and Luis, Jr. and her great grandson Adrian Perez.
Funeral Service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Rick Janelle will officiate. Interment will follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Thursday 10:00-11:00 am.
