Jesus E. Osorio, 47, of Reading, died on December 1, 2007 at 5:38 PM at the Emergency Room of the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born October 17, 1960 in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Victor Osorio of Reading, and the late Francisca Rivera, who passed away June 21, 2006.
He was the companion for the last 28 years of Margarita Rivera Vega.
He was a Frame Assembler for Ashley Furniture Co. in Leesport for the last 15 months. Prior to that, Mr. Osorio worked as a Supervisor for Campbell's Mushrooms in Balndon for 20 years.
He is survived by his sons: Jesus E. Jr. and Juan C. Osorio of Reading; daughter: Marisol Osorio of Reading; stepson: Wilbert Camacho Rivera- Reading; stepdaughters: Betsy and Gloribel Camacho Rivera of Reading; 7 grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren; brothers: Alfonso, Geraldo, and Ramon Osorio of Reading; Jose Fonseca of Reading, and Jose Gonzalez of Puerto Rico; sisters: Margarita and Tita Osorio of Puerto Rico, Provi Gonzalez of Reading, and Carmen Taveras of Reading.
Services from the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th St. Reading Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in Charles Evans Cemetery.
Friends received Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
