Jennie Lamonica

Jennie E. Lamonica, 95, of Cumru Township, went home to be with the Lord and Loved Ones on December 15, 2009 at 8:48 am in her residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lamonica who passed away November 30, 1986. Born in Locustdale, PA she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sevilla(Reinhold)Weikel. She was employed by Flagg Company in Stowe as a sorter for 9 1/2 years, retiring in 1965. Mrs. Lamonica is survived by her son Joseph J. Lamonica, Jr. of Danville, daughters, Sharon K. Lamonica of Cumru Township and Sevilla g. Forlini of Mohnton along with five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition she is survived by brothers Samuel Weikel, Jr. of Mt. Penn, John Weikel of West Berlin, NJ and her sister Dezna Heffner of Locustdale, PA. Mrs. Lamonica was preceded in death by her grandson. Graveside service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County 1801 North 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 in memory of Mrs. Jennie E. Lamonica.
