Jay Owens

Jay K. Owens, 68, of Mohnton, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul S. Owens and Eleanor (Hartgen) Owens. Jay was a roofer for many years at Rainbow Roofing. He is survived by his children Shawn Owens of Reading; Lori Care of Spring Township; and Jay Owens of Mohnton. Jay is also survived by his sister; Kathy Gates, wife of Glenn Gates of Mohnton; and his brother Stanley Owens, husband of Sandra Owens of Mohnton. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Paul Owens and grand-child Jaynie Owens.
