Janice P Folk, 79, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, Passed away July 18, 2008 in Sunrise Assisted Living, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Where she resided the past four months.
She was the widow of David T. Folk, Jr. who passed away on February 4, 2008
Born April 15, 1929, in Childs, Lackawanna County, she was a daughter of the late Leo A. and Anna Mary (Cannon) Battle.
Janice was a 1946 graduate of Franklin High, Carbondale, Lackawanna County. She was employed for 13 years as a secretary For LochA�a�a��s Mobile Home Park in Muhlenberg Township, before retiring in1991.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen A. (Folk) wife of, Terry A. Bickhart, Wyomissing and Margaret M. (Folk) wife of, Kevin C. Tolbert, Saline, Michigan.
Other survivors include include five grandchildren: Kaitlyn A., Courtney E., and Matthew J. Tolbert of Saline, Michigan and Jordan F., and Alexa F. Bickhart, Wyomissing
There is also a sister, Kathryn D. Battle, Wyomissing
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 A. M. in Holy Guardian Angels RC Church. 3121 Kutztown road, Reading. Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis Celebrant. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Church Friday 9-10:00 A. M.
