Jane E. Resch, 85, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Reading, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the First Coast Health Center.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. Ramer and Clara (Bowers) Ramer, and step daughter of the late George Thiry.
She worked as the Housekeeping Supervisor for the Abe Lincoln Motor Inn for 17 years, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Reading.
She is survived by her daughter: Diane L. (Resch) Loose, widow of William V. Loose of Jacksonville, FL.
There are also three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She is also survived by a step brother: Richard Thiry of Grill.
Graveside Services will be held at Laureldale Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
